RAK Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU), established in 2006, is a government-owned institution located in Al Qusaidat, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, near RAK Hospital.
The university is accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) under the Ministry of Education, UAE, and its programs are listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. RAKMHSU offers specialized programs in Medicine (MD), Dentistry (BDS), Pharmacy (BPharm), and Nursing (BScN), with a strong emphasis on clinical training and research.
The university is recognized for its high academic standards and has achieved a 5-star QS Stars rating, becoming the first medical university in the UAE to do so. RAKMHSU is ranked 3rd in the UAE and 75th among Arab universities in the Arab University Rankings 2024.
